Psalm 22:9-22
New International Version
9 Yet you brought me out of the womb;(A)
you made me trust(B) in you, even at my mother’s breast.
10 From birth(C) I was cast on you;
from my mother’s womb you have been my God.
12 Many bulls(G) surround me;(H)
strong bulls of Bashan(I) encircle me.
13 Roaring lions(J) that tear their prey(K)
open their mouths wide(L) against me.
14 I am poured out like water,
and all my bones are out of joint.(M)
My heart has turned to wax;(N)
it has melted(O) within me.
15 My mouth[a] is dried up like a potsherd,(P)
and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth;(Q)
you lay me in the dust(R) of death.
16 Dogs(S) surround me,
a pack of villains encircles me;
they pierce[b](T) my hands and my feet.
17 All my bones are on display;
people stare(U) and gloat over me.(V)
18 They divide my clothes among them
and cast lots(W) for my garment.(X)
